LIVEABOARD Hin Daeng / Hin Muang -Phi Phi - Racha 5 days / 4 nights – M/V Andaman Queen

Hin Daeng & Hin Muang dive sites are located approximately 30km south of Koh Haa islands and 100km from Phuket. Hin Daeng is a partially submerged pinnacle and in Thai meaning "red rock” as the pinnacle is mostly covered by red soft corals. Hin Muang is a completely submerged pinnacle located just a couple of hundreds of meters from Hin Daeng. The pinnacle is mostly covered by purple soft corals, which is what gives the dive site its name in Thai “purple rock”. These are one of the best dive sites in Thailand and in both sites Manta Rays and Whale Sharks are often spotted.

Just south west of Krabi coastline lie the stunning Phi Phi Islands, part of a marine national park that's one of the world's most unforgettable destinations. Sheer limestone cliffs, fine sand beaches and hidden coves. Coral gardens and deeper reefs are sensational for diving and snorkeling.

Raya Yai island just 23 km South of Phuket is a great place for interesting but easy recreational diving. The island is surrounded by around 10 dive sites that offers lots of marine life to explore. Uninhabited Raya Noi island has around 4-5 dive sites where North has some large rocky boulders and the usual marine life in reasonable quantities. South is famous for its purple and pink soft corals and strong currents. These are the most common dive sites in the area to spot big stuff.

Everyone up to 75 years old participants are insured on trips or diving courses conducted by Raya Divers. The insurance is approved by Thai T.A.T. (Tourist Authority of Thailand), and it covers evacuation and treatment for accidents up to  500 000 THB (approx. 12 500 EUR). Most accidents are minor (stumbling on the deck of a boat, dehydration, etc), which the insurance covers easily. However, we recommend each traveler to have their own travel insurance, and for certified divers to have an insurance specifically for scuba diving. This would assist you to avoid possible coverage problems on severe injuries, decompression chamber treatment or expensive evacuation cases back to your home country.
